Kundalini awakening a personal account

I’m lying on my right side reading a story from a sacred text staring into the infinite now. So much has led up to this moment but as I read the luminous words of spirit and I bridge that gap to the great feeling of fullness and the sense of ‘I am soul, I am truly’ a huge missile of electric energy soars up my central channel and explodes with a pulverizing thud in my head.

The rhythm of my heart begins to change and consciousness becomes disorientated and very liminal for a time, I feel like I’m nearly blacking out.

I now understand why people say that when they are experiencing a Kundalini Awakening they feel like they are dying. You really do feel like you’ve tipped over into the great cosmic churning void and you’re not quite sure what you will be like when you come out again.

There had been so many factors leading up to this moment… shamanic healings, fasting, kundalini yoga, meditation, energy work, enemas, soul yearning and retrieving and this experience seems to have come at the right time… just the right time.

This is the moment when pure spirit meets matter like a thunderbolt and says ‘I am the ruler here, you must curb to the cosmic will” and yet the body responds and is moulded to the shape it needs to be.

After I had this experience my clairvoyance was wide open, and I was experiencing deep into the non-physical dimension. The veil seemed to have fallen away for a time. All the tension in my body had been blown away as well and my entire body, even the bones felt floppy and supple. It would not be appropriate to reveal what I experienced on the psychic level but one thing that a Kundalini awakening will do is bring you to the temple of your soul. You will be in no doubt about who you are on a soul level after you have a Kundalini awakening.   

The next morning noticed I had red marks around my groin as if a fuse has blown! And my hips felt so much more open! Suddenly I could do yogic postures that I would have struggled with before.

Leading up to the moment I had been astrally projecting frequently and huge shifts had been taking place in my energy body. When a Kundalini Awakening comes you really do feel like you have been raised for a time to the level of ‘genius’. Not ‘genius’ as in you are going to be given a noble prize for nuclear physics, but ‘genius’ as in the true and sudden display of your soul essence personality. People will notice and be effected by your presence.

Leading up to my experience I had been doing a lot of fasting and had therefore lost a lot of weight. The kundalini awakening seemed to re-arrange my muscular structure. When I walked around town during those days and weeks I felt like I was being fuelled by spirit more than material energy.

There had been a building up of energy in my body around the root chakra for a few days and I had been doing a lot of tactile energy exercises following the work of Robert Bruce. The building up of air like energy / prana around the lower chakras became a bit painful and then during that night I felt it explode as my root chakra strobed and the electric bolt went up my central channel.

Kundalini Spikes are another event that will accumulate around your experience of the raising of Kundalini. Flashes of electric psychic current that suddenly explode in a particular location of your body, thus signalling the development of the energy body in some way.

There are many physical symptoms associated with an awakening but it’s also important to realise the mystical element of the experience. It is as much about what is going on on the level of soul and spirit as what yogic breathing exercises you are doing. Such exercises will be a catalyst but of little great effect unless there is a great churning and fire in the spirit and soul that is looking to break out and launch itself into the world with a huge clap of the hands and a clap of the wings of the spirit that says “Yes I am, I will be here fully in my soul and spirit. I will do what has been asked of me in this life.” It is only then that the universe will offer you the emergence of the Kundalini.
